Michelle Ryan is an English actress born on the 22-end of April 1984 in Enfield, Greater London. Her father, Craig Ryan is a firefighter and her mother, Tinaworks for the beauty care company Clinique.
Early on, she displayed a talent for acting so she joined a group theater when she was about 10. She was picked to play Zoe Slater in BBC’s ”EastEnders” in 2000 and stayed on for five years before she left the series in search of new opportunities.
She appeared in other television shows like „Jekyll” (2007), ”Bionic Woman” (2007), ”Merlin” (2008), ”Doctor Who” (2009), ”Mister Eleven” (2009).
Ryan also started a movie career first testing the waters in the short ”Cashback” (2004). Starting with 2010 she appeared in ”4.3.2.1.” (2010), ”Huge” (2010), ”Girl Walks Into a Bar” (2011). Her upcoming movies are ”Love’s Kitchen” (2011), ”Cleanskin” (2011), ”Cockneys vs Zombies” (2011).
