Megan Fox(Megan Denise Fox) was born May 16, 1986 in Rockwood, Tennessee, SUA. She is an American model and actress. Her real name is Megan Denise Foxx, but she changed her name to Fox after entering show business.
Megan Fox is of Irish, French and Native American ancestry, and she was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee . Her parents are Darlene Tonachio and Franklin Fox, and she also has an older sister, Kristie. Unfortunately for her, Megan Fox's parents divorced when she was young. After that she and her older sister were raised by her mother and her stepfather, Tony Tonachio. Regardless of the hardships after the divorce, Megan Fox's mom was always supportive of her, even at the age of 3 years old when Megan watched the Wizard of Oz and became enchanted with Dorothy. That was the first time that she realized she wants to be an actress and took it very seriously.
At first Megan’s mom couldn’t afford to enroll her daughter in professional acting classes but at the age of 5 years old she began attending drama and dance classes at the local community center in Kingston. At the age of 13 years old she won several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina. These awards were the beginning of her modeling carrier. In 2001, after many auditions, Megan Fox made her film debut as "Brianna Wallace" in the Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen movie, Holiday in the Sun, as spoiled Brianna Wallace. The film was released Direct-to-DVD on November 20, 2001. Megan Fox's biggest success was in 2007, when she won the lead female role of Mikaela Banes in the film Transformers, based on the toy and cartoon saga of the same name. Although she wasn't satisfied by her acting this was the movie that made her a real star. Megan Fox has signed on for two more Transformers sequels. The first sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen , premiered on June 8, 2009 in Tokyo .
In 2004 on the set of the sitcom Hope & Faith, Megan met Austin Green. At that time she was 18 years old and he was 30 years old. Regardless of the age difference, they got engaged in 2006, they broke off the engagement in 2009 but they got engaged again in 2010. On June 24, 2010, Austin Green married Megan Fox in a private and beautiful ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii.
