Kirsty Gallacher is a British television presenter and model born on the 20-th of January 1976 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Her father was Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher.
She wanted to become a fashion journalist and so she went to the London College of Fashion. Her big break came in 1996 while at a golf tournament. She was approached by Mark Sharman from SkyTv, who was in charge of the sports department. She first worked as a production assistant and afterwards as a editorial assistant.
Two years later she started presenting Sky Sports News and since then she had been a constant presence at other sports shows. Such examples are ”Soccer AM”, ”Soccer Extra” or ”90 Minutes”.
She was in other shows like Channel 4’s ”The Games” and ”RI:SE”, BBC’s ”Only Fools on Horses” and ITV’s ”Simply the Best”.
She also appeared on the cover of Maxim and FHM.
She married long time boyfrined and rugby player Paul Simpson in 2010 and have two sons, Oscar, born in 2006 and Jude Sidney, born in 2010.
