Hayden Panettiere (her birth name is Hayden Leslie Panettiere) was born on 21st August 1989 in Palisades, Rockland Country, New York. She is an actress, singer and model. Thanks to her mother, Hayden Panettiere, began appeared in commercials when she was only 11 months old. Her first commercial was for Playskool. Because of this early star she already starred in numerous soap opera and movies, although she is still young.
Hayden Panettiere's talent for acting comes from her mother, Lesley R. Vogel, who is a former soap opera actress. She is of Italian descent and her surname means "baker" in Italian. Her father is Alan L. Panettiere, a fire department lieutenant. Her younger brother, Jansen Panettiere (born September 25, 1994), is also an actor and they even starred together in Tiger Cruise (2004). Hayden considers Jansen to be the greatest present her dad and mom ever gave her. From the 9th grade through high school she was educated at home and she considers her acting career more important than her education.
Hayden Panettiere began modeling at the age of only four months old. Her acting career started seven months later, when she was only 11 months old, by appearing in commercials. She made her debut in Hollywood with the soap opera "One Life to Live"(1994–1997). Hayden Panettiere truly reached fame with her starring role on the 2006 NBC television series "Heroes", where she was the fictional main character Claire Benneta, a high school cheerleader with the power of rapid cellular regeneration. Her voice appeared in several animations films like "A Bug's Life" (1998), "Dinosaur" (2000) and "Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King" (2008). Her cheerleader look helped get the lead roles for "Bring It On: All or Nothing" (2006) and "I Love You, Beth Cooper" (2009).
Hayden Panettiere is also a successful singer. She was nominated for a Grammy in 1999 for the movie "A Bug's Life" with the song Read-Along. She recorded more songs in some of her movies. In 2004 she recorded the song “My Hero Is You" for the movie Tiger Cruise, a movie in which she starred. She recorded "I Fly" for the movie "Ice Princess", "Try" for "Bridge to Terabithia" and "I Still Believe" for "Cinderella III: A Twist in Time".
From December 2007 to February 2009 Hayden Panettiere dated her "Heroes" co-star Milo Ventimiglia. In 2009 she started dating the professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko, a Ukrainian world heavyweight champion. Hayden Panettiere is a vegetarian and an active supporter of Animal Liberation Front, fighting to defend dolphin and whales.
