Grace Park was born on March 14, 1974 in Los Angeles, California, U.S. . Although she was born in America she moved to Canada when she was 22 months old and she considers herself a Canadian native, of Korean decent. She is famous for appearing in the military science fiction television series "Battlestar Galactica" or the Canadian television series "Edgemont", a show about teenagers in Edgemont, a fictitious suburb of Vancouver.
After moving to Canada, Grace Park was raised in the Vancouver. She continues to live there with her husband, Phil Kim. Grace Park graduated from Magee Secondary in 1992. Her degree is in psychology from the University of British Columbia. After graduating from college she started modeling. She also wanted to try acting for a year, but she was immediately casted in the show "Edgemont" (2000). She is best known for playing the role of Sharon Valerii, a humanoid Cylon on "Battlestar Galactica"(2004). She considers that in this television series you can find whatever you want to see, whether it is politics, terrorism, faith, hope, struggle, love or war. There was a lot of pressure on her in this movie especially because she had to play more than one role.
She appeared as Lt. Sandra Telfair in the game "Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars", for Electronic Arts'. She also appeared in some televisions series for A&E or CBC, among which were "The Cleaner" or "The Border".
